Can I get a refund on a movie I’ve rented or purchased?
Unfortunately none of our movies are refundable including our movie cards. We are always looking to evolve wevu by valuing your input. If you have a suggestion, head over to our Suggestion Form.
Our main priority is to keep a smile on your face so if that smile is not there, contact us through our Contact Form. and we'll get in touch as soon as we can.
Is it easy to buy or rent movies on wevu?
Yes we’ve made sure it’s easy.
Go to wevumovies.com on your smartphone, tablet or computer web browser. Then follow these simple steps:
- Sign in or register for a wevu account.
- Choose the film you want to watch.
- Hit the 'watch' button.
- Choose 'buy' or 'rent' (most of our movies are available to rent).
- Add your payment details.

Renting and buying a movie – what's the difference?
When you buy a movie, it is yours to watch and enjoy as many times as you like. When you rent a movie it’s yours for 48 hours from the moment you hit ‘play’. You have 30 days to hit that play button but don't forget you have to watch the movie within 48 hours.
Whether you rent or buy you can watch your movies on up to five devices at once.
Can I buy credit instead of buying a movie?
Sadly not just yet, but we’re working on it! Sign up to our mailing list at wevumovies.com and we'll keep you posted.
If you want to give a movie as a gift, however, you can buy a wevu movie card at a participating branch of Tesco: Tesco stores that sell wevu movie cards. Pick one up with your shopping, they make great presents.
Can I purchase movie boxsets?

Where can I see a list of the movies I have bought and rented?
You can see a full list of all the movies you’ve bought by logging on to the wevu website or app and clicking on the ‘my movies’ tab.
Your movie rentals will appear here as well, but only during the 48 hours they are active.
How often can I watch the movies I've purchased or rented?
- You can watch your purchased movies as many times as you like.
- When you rent a movie you have access to this movie for 30 days after purchase and you can watch the movie 48 hours from the moment you hit 'play'.
- You can watch your movies on a maximum of five different devices.
Can I choose when my 48-hour movie rental period starts?
Absolutely. The rental period starts the moment you hit 'play' and you have 30 days to decide when you want to play your movie. Don't forget you have 48 hours to watch your movie once you play it.
Can I pre-order new releases?
You can't pre-order new releases just yet, but we're working on it! Sign up to our mailing list at wevumovies.com and we’ll keep you posted.
I use wevu a lot. Can I have a subscription please?
wevu is proudly subscription-free. We believe our customers want the power to pay for what they watch – no more, no less and no strings attached.
What makes us unique is that you can own and collect the movies you want, which is why we can not provide you with a subscription.
