How to manage your wevu user account

Do you have a question about your wevu user account? Maybe you need help to reset your password or set up user profiles? The following frequently asked questions should help.

I can't sign into my wevu account?


Try following the steps below to resolve sign in issues:

  • Ensure you have confirmed your registration through the email we sent you when you signed up
  • Try resetting your password at
  • If you're using your username and it's not working, try the email address you registered with and give that a go.

I’ve forgotten my password. How do I reset it?


It's annoying when that happens. To reset your password:

  • Go to our Reset Password page
  • Complete the two fields then click the 'Request' button
  • You will then receive an email with a link, that directs you to a page where you can type in your new password

Once you have done that final step, your wevu password has been changed!

What is a parental pin?


Every wevu account has a parental control feature which locks content so that it cannot be viewed by children.

You are required to create a parental pin as part of the sign up process. You can then choose the preferences you want under your parental control by going to your 'Settings' then 'Parental Control'.

How do I change my parental control PIN?


To personalise your PIN:

  • Go to 'Settings'.
  • Select 'My Pin'.
  • Enter your current PIN.
  • Click the 'change pin' button and enter in the four digit number you want as your new pin.

How do I remove a profile from my account?


Open the wevu homepage on your smartphone, tablet or desktop browser and sign in if you are not already signed in. Then please click on the profile icon on the home page and click on the profile you want to remove, then follow these simple steps:

  • Click on the settings icon.
  • Click on 'Profile Name'.
  • Click 'Remove Profile'.

Your profile will then be deleted!

How do I add multiple user profiles?


Good question. User profiles are a great way to ensure content and movie recommendations are suitable for individual users. Setting them up is easy:

Sign into wevu at on your smartphone, tablet or desktop browser. Click the profile icon, then click the 'add new' button and follow the simple three step instructions.

How can I cancel my wevu account?


If you have purchased any movies on wevu, your movies will be deleted along with your account cancellation and will not be restored if you create a new account with us in the future.

It is free to have a wevu account with us, no harm in keeping it open! If you still want to cancel your account, email and ask for your wevu account to be deleted.

Where can I view movie trailers?


We love the trailers! You can view them in any movie detail page if they’re available. Enjoy!
